CCBC’s Mission Statement

We exist to worship God, to provide discipleship and fellowship opportunities for all who attend, to share God’s saving grace to people everywhere, and to serve God and people through meaningful ministries in the church, in the community, and in the world.

Worship

Praise and honor of, and reverence for, God and the Lord Jesus Christ (Psalm 122:1, John 4:23)

Prayer

Communicating with and listening to God (Jeremiah 29:12, Ephesians 6:18)

God’s Word

Study of the Bible which develops fully committed followers of Christ (Psalm 119:105, II Timothy 2:15)

Mission

Service for God’s glory to meet people’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs (Deuteronomy 13:4, Luke 9:23-24)

Evangelism

Share the message of God’s saving grace in our community and in the world (Psalm 96:3, Acts 1:8)

Faithfulness

Commitment to God’s Holy Word, His church and His earthly mission (II Chronicles 16:9, Ephesians 4:11-16, Matthew 6:10)

Community

Building relationships to promote & strengthen unity in the body of Christ (Psalm 133:1, Acts 2:41-47)

Humility/Thanksgiving

Key traits of a healthy relationship with God (Psalm 107:8-9, Philippians 4:6-7)
